    FDOT Assistant Secretary Watts serves as the Program Executive Director for Moving I-4 Forward and is responsible for setting the overall vision and goals for the program, as well as driving its performance.

    Will has broad public agency and consulting firm experience in delivery and leadership positions. He has had an accelerated and diverse career path in both production and operations, ranging from design through program management. He has spent much of his career in northeast Florida, where he held the position of Director of Operations with FDOT District Two. Will relocated to Tallahassee when he was appointed as the Chief Engineer and soon after earned the appointment to serve as the Assistant Secretary of Engineering and Operations for FDOT. His wide-ranging background includes hands on delivery, local program and community support, completing complex projects under accelerated schedules, and statewide strategic program leadership. Will has humbly spent his career honoring the values and goals of FDOT and working for the residents of Florida with a mission of advancing the Department’s Target Zero safety initiative, expanding workforce development, advancing technology, ensuring a robust supply chain, and implementing resiliency strategies for our local communities.
