Moving I-4 Forward – Project 3

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Corridors Program Office will host a Public Meeting highlighting Project 3 of the Moving I-4 Forward Program on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Eva Event Center, 799 Johns Avenue, Haines City, FL 33844.
 
This meeting invites interested parties to learn, ask questions, and provide comments about Project 3 and the planned enhancements along Interstate 4 and at the interchange with U.S. 27 in Polk County. Attendees will also learn about the accelerated improvements already under construction at the interchange and along U.S. 27 to reduce congestion and increase safety before Project 3 officially begins. Displays that illustrate the improvements will be available at the meeting, along with a looping informational video. Members of the project team will be present to answer any questions. All meeting materials will be posted to the Public Meeting webpage on the day of the meeting.

Comments received or postmarked on or before Friday, August 7, 2026, will be included in the Public Meeting record.
 
Meeting notifications will be sent to property owners and residents within at least 300 feet of the right-of-way line of Project 3 and to public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and others interested in the project.
 
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or persons who require translation services (free of charge) should email FDOT-CPOCOMM@dot.state.fl.us at least seven days before the meeting.
