As the Strategy Liaison for the Moving I-4 Forward Program, Santanu provides strategic counsel on all elements of the initiative, including development of goals and actionable strategies, community engagement, messaging, and effectiveness assessment.
Santanu holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree and Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning Degree from the Florida State University and is a certified Professional Transportation Planner.
Santanu managed several GEC/GPC/continuing services contracts with the Florida Department of Transportation both at the Statewide and District levels, in a general consultant capacity. His strong policy and technical foundation, and the ability to bring practical innovation, extensive experience, and exceptional client service, allows him to connect multiple program areas and serve the Department as a trusted partner. He specializes in long-range visioning, strategic and tactical planning, policy and systems planning, data analytics and modeling, multimodal and intermodal planning, funding and financing, project development, and technology integration. His wide range of technical abilities and familiarity with federal and state transportation policies and procedures allow him to help clients manage complex projects, make informed decisions, deliver context sensitive solutions, and make a difference in the communities we serve.
