The State Road (S.R.) 417 southbound ramp to I-4 westbound (under World Drive) and World Drive southbound will be temporarily closed overnight from 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8.

Traffic will be detoured onto World Drive northbound. During the closure, crews will be removing one overhead sign structure.

Detour information:

  • Motorists intending to travel on the S.R. 417 southbound ramp to access I-4 westbound should follow detour signage to exit at World Drive northbound toward Disney World. Continue on World Drive northbound for approximately 0.75 miles and make a U-turn to begin traveling on World Drive southbound, then take the exit to I-4 westbound.
  • Motorists intending to travel on the S.R. 417 southbound ramp to access World Drive southbound should follow detour signage to exit at World Drive northbound toward Disney World. Continue on World Drive northbound for approximately 0.75 miles and make a U-turn to begin traveling on World Drive southbound toward Celebration.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other circumstances. Motorists should maintain a safe speed and avoid distractions.
