West of U.S. 27 to west of ChampionsGate Blvd. (C.R. 532)
Project 3 in the Moving I-4 Forward Program will provide improved capacity by adding two express lanes in each direction along I-4. It will also enhance connectivity by adding ramps that provide direct connections between the I-4 express lanes and U.S. 27. Interchange enhancements at U.S. 27 will provide operational improvements while accommodating the many businesses located along the highway.
Construction on this project will also be built simultaneously with Project 4 on the eastern end.
Project Details
The Moving I-4 Forward Program consists of five main projects plus an initial phase called the Accelerated Start that included two additional components to jump-start future construction.
