I’m in my senior year at Florida International University, majoring in Civil Engineering. I grew up in Pierson, Florida, which is known as the “Fern Capital of the World.” My interest in civil engineering started when I was a kid playing with Legos and Hot Wheels, building bridges and structures. One day, I decided to look up who designs and builds bridges, and that’s when I discovered civil engineering. As I finish up my degree, I’m excited to continue learning and applying what I’ve gained throughout my studies. A fun fact about me is that I’ve had the chance to visit Japan, which was an amazing experience.
